Job Description
The JDE Developer will provide technical assistance in implementing and enhancing business systems focused on the ERP system (JDE) and supporting applications. 5-7 yrs software development experience

Provide technical assistance in implementing and enhancing business systems focused on the ERP system (JDE) and supporting applications.  Assist with the review and evaluation of proposed upgrades to business systems and related applications from other software suppliers.  Assist in identifying, evaluating, and implementing business improvements, with measurable benefits

  • Critical success factors of the position include ensuring that:
    • The system is being used as intended
    • There is a robust testing process such that errors are rarely found once a system is put into production. 
    • Emergency changes to production are non-existent
    • The focus is on continuous improvement, packaged releases, and documentation and not on putting out fires
    • There is a library of technical specifications and documentation for every business system

Qualifications:                                                
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
5-7 years Software Development
SQLserver or Oracle development background
1-2 years Project Management
2-5 years ERP experience; JDE preferred
ERP development – JDE preferred; Strong manufacturing background preferred
Excellent time management skills
Ability to create clarity in ambiguous situations
Customer focused
Proficient in technical specification writing
