Job Description
Client who is a well known industry leader is looking to hire a few Data Integration/ETL Specialist. This DIRECT HIRE position will work with the Business Analytics Center to maintain and develop Data Integration solutions, using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), to support our EDW/BI Platform.  Contact Mark Shemroske at Markg@trisrecruiters.com for more information. 
 
Requirements include:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years experience developing/implementing IT solutions
  • 2+ years hands-on/technical experience implementing Business Intelligence solutions
  • Proven technical aptitude and solid understanding of programming concepts
  • Working knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts and practices along with performance implications (dimensions/facts, datamarts, staging tables, change-data-capture, materialized views, data pump, DB links)
  • Data Integration experience using Oracle’s Data Integrator (ODI), across multiple source systems (ideally including JDE ERP)
  • Experience writing and tuning Oracle SQL & PL/SQL
  • Basic knowledge of AIX/Linux OS commands
  • Broad understanding of IT infrastructure & application interfaces, database concepts, and general IT Concepts (e.g. virtualization, cloud computing, platforms)
  • Ability to produce to an established schedule
  • A commitment to continuous professional development
  • A high degree of organizational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to work as needed outside of traditional business hours
  • Proven experience "taking the lead" to ensure project completion
  • Experience working in a team environment under stringent time constraints
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Responsibilities include:
  • Requirements gathering, design and implementation of ETL/Data Integration solutions
  • Development, debugging and performance tuning of ODI interfaces and SQL
  • Technical documentation/reviews, data validation & troubleshooting integrity issues, and system testing
  • Process improvement & leveraging best practices
  • Providing maintenance and support of IT applications and systems
  • Employing new, as well as tested and proven technologies to develop technical solutions to meet business requirements
  • Proactively observing system performance and initiating improvements as necessary
  • Promoting the goals and objectives of the IT Department
